PneuVation is currently developing three lines of devices; the “Spinal Unloading Line”, “Emergency Set & Splint Line” and the “Scoliosis Line”.
Spinal Unloading Line
Devices in the Spinal Unloading Line are designed to address musculoskeletal problems in the spine that are a result of injury or aging and that are relieved with traction, distraction or unloading and/or stabilization.
The first product in the Spinal Unloading Line is Trekke™ Lumbar Lift™ which has been designed as an ambulatory treatment for low back pain in the lumbar region of the spine. Trekke™ is a soft, supple and comfortable device that is worn around the abdomen and provides pain relief by off loading and transferring upper torso weight from the lumbar spine. Trekke™’s soft and supple construction allows it to remain comfortable and flexible during use and as such can be worn for extended periods every day. This unique combination of comfortable ambulatory pain relief allows low back pain suffer the ability to quickly regain their lives and normal daily routines. Trekke™ is scheduled to be released in early 2009.
Emergency Set & Splint Line
Devices in the Emergency Set & Splint Line are designed to quickly distract and splint broken bones, providing pain relief and stabilization until further treatments can be facilitated. The devices will find a broad range of use from emergency first responders to the military, industrial first aid rooms, back country hikers and veterinarians etc.
Scoliosis Line
This line of devices is designed to arrest and counter the progression of scoliosis and the unique soft, supple design results in the devices being dynamically flexible and unobtrusive which allows them to be worn all day during all activities.
