PneuVation’s technology was born of the inventor’s drive to alleviate his own chronic low back pain. Needing a comfortable, effective, simple-to-use device that allowed him to walk, sit and continue with his normal daily activities, Greg Hakonson innovated a unique new technology in his product innovation company, ORO Enterprises Ltd., to do just that.

PneuVation Comes to Life

Once Greg was satisfied the new technology was appropriate and had applied for patent protection, he created PneuVation Medical Inc. (pronounced New-Vay-tion) as the research and development company responsible for the creation and commercialization of the associated products and devices. The company’s name, “PneuVation” (formerly PneuMedex), is inspired by the innovative approach taken to solve a variety of medical needs. PneuVation’s first product Trekke™ Lumbar Lift™ is scheduled for release in early 2009.
